Barry and Valerie first traveled to Havana and Santiago de Cuba in December, and Valerie back to Santiago for the Fidanze Festival in April, with Translucent Borders, a working group of the New York University Global Institute for Advanced Studies, under the direction of Dr. Andy Teirstein.
